In partnership with the City of Langford, The Wheelhouse Cycling Society provides overall direction, oversight, and management of the “Jordie Lunn Bike Park”, which includes maintenance, scheduling, programming, fundraising, event hosting, marketing, promotions.
The society also promotes bicycling culture in the Greater Victoria Area by showcasing cycling related events/activities that incorporate aspects of healthy lifestyles, commuting, recreation, racing, demonstration, and art. This includes the overall direction, oversight, and execution of marquee cycling events such as the “Bear Mountain Bike Festival”, “Robert Cameron Law Cycling Series”, “Burnt Bridge Classic Gravel Fondo” and “Bear Crossing Grand Prix", as a means to showcase cycling in various disciplines in the Greater Victoria Area.

The Wheelhouse Cycling Society also provides support (whether financial or otherwise) for persons or organizations involved in promoting cycling events and culture in the Greater Victoria Area.
The Society contributes to the community through health, social, economic and tourism benefits, trained volunteers and promotion of Greater Victoria as a cycling community and destination.
